Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered Coming Later this Year!

     #JoinTheGhostbusters!

It looks like Ghostbusters fans are in for quite a treat.  This year marks both the 35th anniversary of the franchise and the 10th anniversary of The Video Game itself.
In recent years there's been a plethora of Ghostbusters mobile games and a few console games, but none of them have truly captured the spirit of the franchise so special in the first place, and this fact is made so much more obvious as when playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

According to the official Saber Interactive announcement:
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered delivers a unique story from Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis that captures the supernatural comedic fun and fright fans love from the franchise, which celebrates the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters this year.
As the new rookie on the Ghostbusters crew, you’ll team up with your favorite characters from the films, reunited by the voices of Aykroyd, Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson as Stantz, Spengler, Venkman and Zeddemore, alongside Annie Potts, Brian Doyle-Murray, William Atherton, and Max von Sydow. Manhattan is overrun once more by ghosts, demons, and other paranormal creatures unleashed by a mysterious force, and only the Ghostbusters can drive this evil back to whatever dimension it crawled from and save the Big Apple.
Hunt, fight and trap a variety of new and familiar ghouls and phantasms, all remastered in HD resolution. Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered equips you with cool gadgets and upgradeable weapons to play with in huge boss fights and destructible environments. Scan and analyze targets with the P.K.E. Meter and Paragoggles, then strap on your Proton Pack to wear ghosts down with the blast stream before wrangling them with the capture stream.
There's a reason many fans consider The Video Game as third film despite it being removed from official canon.  It plays well, it's got a great story, and it was made by the original crew.
The 2016 Ghostbusters game was a mere reskin of 2011's Sanctum of Slime, the Ghostbusters: Lego Dimensions game is the standard LEGO game kind of fun, there's a generic puzzle game Ghostbusters: Puzzle Fighter, for a time the small side-scrolling, gem of a platformer titled Little Ghostbusters was available, and a low key kids game PLAYMOBIL Ghostbusters, then there was the mediocre Ghostbusters: Slime City, as well as the strange augmented reality game Ghostbusters: Paranormal Blast which was essentially remade by a better company into Ghostbusters World.  There's even an augmented reality VR game by Sony Interactive called Ghostbusters: Now Hiring, which is yet another mundane game for mobile devices.  In addition there was a bunch of content added to the Respawnables from the Ghostbusters franchise that was surprisingly well done.

Sadly, the best game the franchise has ever produced was Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and now we get it as a wonderful remaster by Saber Interactive.  We can only hope that as we close in on Jason Reitman's new Ghostbusters film (slated to release on July 10th, 2020) we might see some new games, mobile or otherwise, that are up to the high quality of The Video Game.

Good news Ray, the Remaster is staring right at me.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is coming to PS4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Epic Game Store later this year.

Ghostbusters: Slime City: Short Review

WATCHA GONNA PLAY?

Ghostbusters: Slime City is another uninteresting free-to-play time-sink mobile game filled with little nudges, and occasionally some very blatant shoves, pushing you towards the in game IAPs.  It combines elements of a city-builder, with card collecting, and some of the mobile rail-sliding gallery-shooters.

In holding with the current cheap Ghostbusters marketing and lazy tie-in merchandise, just as the new film copies the original, and as the new Ghostbusters video game is a reskin of Sanctum of Slime, this game is itself quite literally a reskin of a reskin from EightPixelsSquare's Cartel Kings and All Guns Blazing.

The gameplay consists of expanding you presence in Manhattan by starting with the Ghostbusters HQ and gathering building along the way to gather and hold more cash in the city building portion of the game.  A main building tower stands as the story mode levels offering swiftly ramped up challenges for experience points and booster cards bonuses.
You also get more playable levels in the form of contracts adding more opportunity to collect cards that act as boosters for the shooting gallery levels.  After a player reach certain player levels, you can join a Squad and compete in PvP or assist other busters in group levels (although they are still played by yourself- just the scores are combined).  The problem is that the level difficulties become extremely problematic too quick, greatly encouraging the use of IAPs to regain health, equipment upgrades, and booster cards.
Although far too fast you can find yourself going from full health to no health with no chance to recoup it.  Health can be drained nearly instantaneously if there are a handful of enemies all at once.  Some of which have nearly a one-shot kill if they hit you, and if you can't shoot them because they are behind a bunch of other ghosts and various parts of scenery it becomes an unavoidable instant doom.  To be fair the health can be regained between levels through chips earned by watching commercials for other games at the New York theater on the minimap or waiting for long amounts of time for it to replenish.
In the end, it feels like an extremely unfair balance very heavily geared, as many free-to-play games are, towards the pay-to-win mentality.  I mean look at the pic at the bottom of this post, one of many, pointing us towards spending- "ALL the top Ghostbusters join the VIP club!"  This game seems like it was designed to be made as cheaply as possible, and funnel players directly towards paying.

On a good note, I have to give them credit for the art style however.  I really dig it and everything looks great.  If they made this into a small 3rd person action game it could be a tremendously fun game with the stylized look.  Overall, I think the most fun I had in the game is the bonus mini-game that pops up once in a while to feed Slimer.  He appears near a hotdog cart and you have a certain amount of time to repeatedly swipe food into his mouth.

CASHGRABBERS!

I would think that these companies might put a little more effort into making something new and fun for the Ghostbusters universe, but alas, that is definitely not the case.  The least they could've done is copy a decent Ghostbusters game, like the Nintendo DS or PSP versions of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, or even a newer shrunken down mobile port of the amazing console version of the game (my review here).  That would've been so much better than this.  As it is, the console game is essentially the third film and it is absolutely fun as hell to play- whereas this game is merely a time waster with little in the way of fun or action.

In fact I think the best Ghostbusters game for current mobile devices is actually Respawnables with the Ghostbusters bundle.  Hopefully they'll run another ghost hunting campaign mode for the game when the film arrives this week.

So don't bother with Ghostbusters: Slime City unless you are genuinely interested in tedious and repetitive gaming- it's as every bit as shallow as a reskin of a reskin could possibly be.  In the mean time I'd recommend people play Little Ghostbusters instead.

Ghostbusters: Ecto Cooler Returning to Store Shelves May 30th!

Fan campaigns to bring it back combined with hype for the new Ghostbusters movie has persuaded the Coca-Cola company to re-issue the delicious Hi-C Ecto Coolers!

Way back in 1987 the slime colored citrus beverage was made as a tie-in to The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, and actually ran far longer than the show.  It made it all the way to 2001.

Of course, the appeal of the magical color of green means it'll be a guaranteed money-making tie-in for the new film.  Beginning on May 30th, Slimer's ooze-juice will be available for a limited time in either packs of 6oz. boxes or in 11.5oz. cans- all set to haunt our digestive tracks with nostalgic goodness.

Ghostbusters is set to hit theaters July 15th.

Ghostbusters: Video Game (2016) Announcement Trailer & Thoughts

Arriving mere days before the new film hits theaters, a new Ghostbusters video game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The new game is a co-op twin stick shooter featuring, by the looks of it, completely new recruits to the Ghostbusters team taking over duties while the main cast is off dealing with the big poltergeists.  This looks very much like 2011's Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, but with better graphics.  In fact, it has a very stylized look that bodes quite well, although I am not too fond of Slimer's slightly creepier new appearance.  He looks a bit too ominous, even with a backpack.

In addition there's a mobile game on the way- Ghostbusters: Slime City.  A third-person action game of busting specters on your phones and tablets featuring multiplayer options and presumably a grind-heavy leveling system so typical with the current mobile gaming climate.

Recently, there's been the Ghostbusters addition to Lego Dimensions, which is standard Lego game playing fun, there's the mundane Ghostbusters: Puzzle Fighter game, the surprisingly entertaining Little Ghostbusters phone game, and the interesting and oddly-fun-yet-still-terrible augmented reality game Ghostbusters: Paranormal Blast.  Lastly, there very under-appreciated Ghostbusters: The Video Game.  That's a game I would very much recommend to any fans of the films, or even of the old 80's cartoon and toys series.

Ghostbusters the game will be available July 12th.

Ghostbusters: Slime City: Mobile Game Coming in July

Ghostbusters is getting a plethora of new stuff for when the movie hits this summer. new toys, merchandise, and video games.  There's the new twin-stick shooter coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and then there's this little mobile tie-in- Slime City.

Ghostbusters: Slime City has players out completing jobs by busting ghosts, collecting rewards, upgrading headquarters, and collecting proton pack components.  Players will be attempting to save New York City with a multiplayer option via "asynchronous co-op or compete in special PVP events for bigger rewards and bragging rights."

Recently, there's been the wonderful Ghostbusters addition to Lego Dimensions, which is standard Lego game playing fun, there's the mundane Ghostbusters: Puzzle Fighter game, the surprisingly entertaining Little Ghostbusters phone game, and the interesting and oddly-fun-yet-still-terrible augmented reality game Ghostbusters: Paranormal Blast.  Lastly, there very under-appreciated Ghostbusters: The Video Game.  That's a game I would very much recommend to any fans of the films, or even of the old 80's cartoon and toys series.

Ghostbusters: Slime City will be for "select iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android, and Kindle devices."  The exact release date has not been given, but is "expected in July."

Ghostbusters: NEW Full Trailer & Thoughts

Just a half hour ago Sony dropped the new Ghostbusters reboot trailer featuring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth.

It definitely looks better than I had been expecting, but...
...once again, as so many reboots are likely to do, it seems to hinge on too many of the first film's shots and familiar moments.  That being said, the trailer is only two and a half minutes, so maybe they are using those shots to lure old fans in.
I'll be seeing this regardless- not only because I've been a fan since the first film and old cartoon series, but because all these ladies are hilarious as hell.  And Paul Feig has been doing pretty well in the director's chair, most notably with Spy.

In truth I'm worried it'll lack all the nuance and subtlety the first film had.  This trailer seems like they are sacrificing depth of world-building for a slew of one-note jokes and slapstick and in-your-face humor many modern comedies tend to resort to.  If this movie is to do well, I think it'll have to let these women do something great with the roles, and use the first film less as a crutch and more of a jumping off point.

These leading ladies are more than the typecast roles they seem to always get.  I want to see McCarthy doing something new and different with this role.  Not her typical two-part naive but nice lady or its standard alter ego the hard-ass loudmouth she gets in nearly every movie she's in.  She can do so much more and this is a chance to really do something special.  Wiig can be more than just a quiet nerd scientist.  And so on.  Each one of them is highly talented and should be allowed to let the roles grow and give them some new avenues to pursue other than simple talking or physical comedy.  We want intelligent comedy back, and this is the perfect starting point that can renew that form of smart humor.
Until it arrives, I'll I can do is cross my fingers that they get it right.

     Ghostbusters hits theaters July 15th.

Ghostbusters: Activision has a NEW Game on the Way!

With the release date in only about 6 months time, the reboot Ghostbusters film has now got a full onslaught of marketing goodies for all of us nerds and collectors.

Good News Ray, there's a new game staring right at me.
Over at the Retail Merchandiser Sony has announced a slew of products:
"In the lead off to the movie’s release, Sony Pictures Consumer Products is working to ensure it has items available at every price range, from $9.99 action figures  aimed at children to high-end replica proton packs for adult collectors. Apparel companies such as Hybrid and FAB NY are adapting scenes from the movie into T-shirts and backpacks. IDW is continuing its work on the Ghostbusters comic series while Simon & Schuster is developing a junior novelization and a Guide to Ghostbusting book that will give the franchise a presence in stores like Barnes & Noble."
But for this post in particular, I was drawn to this next part:
"Ghostbusters is also returning to video games. Already, the Ghostbusters sets are on sale for Lego Dimensions, a toys-to-life game featuring the classic building blocks and a new full-fledged Ghostbusters video game from Activision will release alongside the movie on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4."
Most recently there's been the Ghostbusters addition to Lego Dimensions, which is standard Lego game playing fun, there's the mundane Ghostbusters: Puzzle Fighter game, the surprisingly entertaining Little Ghostbusters phone game, the interesting and oddly-fun-yet-still-terrible augmented reality game Ghostbusters: Paranormal Blast, and the very under-appreciated Ghostbusters: The Video Game.  That's a game I would very much recommend to any fans of the films, or even of the old 80's cartoon and toys series.  You know what I'd even recommend it to the, like 20 fans of the Extreme Ghostbusters.  I'm not quite sure how they could cram that much 90's into one show, but they managed to do so with a spectacular level of overconfidence.

Anyways, if this new Activision game is even remotely as good as Ghostbusters: The Video Game, the new game will make a killing.  It would be of great note here that Activision has also got another top notch property game in the works with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, and if their previous game Transformers: Devastation is any indication, the new Ghostbusters will likely be a very good game.  It sounds like Activision has finally started to learn to actually listen to what the fans want.

Now, for those of us that remember it, we can only hope that they re-release Ecto Cooler Hi-C drinks.  I drank that stuff by the gallon.

Ghostbusters hits theaters July 22nd, 2016.

Little Ghostbusters: Tiny Mobile Game Review (Android)

I came across this small gem looking for some good Ghostbusters games for my phone.  Little Ghostbusters is a kind of reduced version of the old Sega Genesis Ghostbusters action-platformer game- shrinking it down to a fixed-shooter for the mobile

Players choose one of the 3 original film Ghostbusters (Venkman, Stantz, and Spengler- but oddly no Zeddemore which is quite disappointing), each with their own type of blaster.  Sadly, the Proton Packs and Neutrino Wand streams are missing.  Each level is in a single room with ghosts flying across the screen.  Players must simply zap as many ghosts as they can while avoiding falling obstacles.  At the same time power ups, rare and valuable hearts, and money (score bonuses) drop to assist in your ghost capturing quest.  That is really the whole extent of the game.

It is really a very basic game like Galaga or Space Invaders, but it doesn't need much more.  Really, outside of adding Zeddemore as a character, the only additional thing I'd change is to add a continue feature.  Each player only gets 3 hits and dies (slimed!) and you have to start completely over.  It gets very frustrating in the later parts of the game when the screen is pure bombardment and there's no way to avoid getting hit.  Otherwise it's a nice pocket-sized fixed-shooter game.

Little Ghostbusters has solid graphics, smooth animations and gameplay, good sounds, and a nice synthesized version of the theme music, so it isn't much, but it's still a fun time waster for either fans of the franchise or fixed-shooters.

Ghostbusters: Puzzle Fighter: Review

Ghostbusters Puzzle Fighter is grind heavy puzzle fighter has you fighting not just the familiar ghosts and ghouls of the franchise, but also the typical freemium staples- an unreasonably fast difficulty curve a handful of levels in and the ever-present and nefarious energy bar.  The energy is, of course, necessary to play matches and matches are needed to gain currencies and additional cards in order to level up characters for more puzzle battles.  There are IAPs to speed up the rate of play and increase the cards in your deck, but they aren't wholly required.

The sound effects and music are top notch, and the art style is a decent blend of the films and cartoons.  The game comes with a completely original story featuring characters fans might recognize from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon show, the films, the newer IDW comic book series, as well as a few new additions.

Overall, the game is very similar to Marvel Puzzle Quest, and the puzzles are of the Bejeweled and Candy Crush variety- simple tile shuffle and matching.  To make the battles more interesting than simple tiles destruction, is the fact that each character card can receive bonuses based on the type of tiles destroyed, and powering up a special move for the character- allowing things such as an extra damage move, or a healing blast for the team.

Ideally, players will want to line up and strategize a move that cascades into more tile match ups in hopes of causing a nice combo streak.  The problem is that most of the time the ghosts can get a 3 tile move that cascades into 5 more combos that wipe entire lines and rows causing massive damage, while even the best players might only get a few tiled combos at best due to the off-screen drop-in tile generation being a little too one-sided (presumably to encourage buying more card packs or energy).

Once players finish story mode, they can unlock a PvP mode.  The only big downside to this is that the story mode might be a bit tough because the difficulty ramps up quite quickly.  Far too quickly, exacerbating the repetitive nature of the game, and I have a feeling that it will likely result in a swift loss of interest for a fair number of players before they can even make it to the multiplayer PvP mode.

Ghostbusters Puzzle Fighter's developer Beeline has made an interesting and addictive game that fans of puzzlers, strategy games, or Ghostbusters will enjoy.  Personally, I wouldn't mind a mode of play without needing to use energy (but no rewards to make it fair) for unlimited fun play.  Just using what you've got to play for fun.

Ghostbusters Paranormal Blast: Augmented Reality: Game Review

When it comes to Ghostbusters, they've made a ton of great products over the years- the cereal, the cartoon, the amazing toy lines, and even the unbelievably delicious Hi-C Ecto Cooler juice- but this game isn't quite one of the great ones.

Players play as a recruit to the Ghostbusters, and which of the 6 you choose doesn't matter, because it's a first-person game.  What the game does have going for it however is the ingenious way it uses the iOS device.  Using your location it will send you to various local areas where you live via maps and GPS to capture ghosts, or as I shut off the locations, all of them were conveniently in my living room.  Then it uses the device's camera as a 3D viewer- meaning you'll need to swing the device around and hunt for the ghosts in the room you are in, sometimes needing to stand up and spin around hunting down the ghosts.

The battles are short, consisting merely of draining a ghosts health bar by firing a stream out of the Neutrino Wand, and then tossing out a trap to catch it once its health is low enough.  The monotony strikes quick as there are only 15 types of ghosts and each has attacks that are unblockable-but-weak offering a very limited range of things to look at and no real challenge.  So the longer you play the more you need to level up your gear- through in game currency or IAPs- offering nothing new visually, just stat boosts for things you already have, meaning the leveling feels completely unnecessary towards real progression.
Although, a couple extra skill-items become available that make the higher level ghosts a bit easier, such as a stun blast, but they aren't ever necessary- even against the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man boss fights.

As a life-long Ghostbusters fan Paranormal Blast offers about a half-hour to an hour of entertainment, but not a whole lot more.  Paranormal Blast might have been something extremely entertaining with more development, because it does have some good ideas, it just stays in the boring shallow end of the gameplay pool and avoids wading anywhere near the deep end altogether.  Outside of the game's novelty, its repetitive nature drags it into mediocrity.  At best, Ghostbusters Paranormal Blast is just a quirky gimmick to waste a lunch break with.

Ghostbusters Reboot: Bill "Dr. Venkman" Murray CONFIRMED for Cameo

According to The Hollywood Reporter (and Coming Soon) Bill Murray has been photographed on set and, reportedly, will be making a cameo in the Paul Feig Ghostbusters reboot.  Murray has been long-known to steer clear of Ghostbusters properties since Ghostbusters 2 flopped at the box office.

This is good news for fans.  If Murray is willing to make an appearance, there has to be something good going for it.  We've already heard Dan Aykroyd has been through for a cameo, now we just have to wait and see if Ernie Hudson might make an appearance as well.

I've long since thought it would've been great if Murray played a ghost just hanging around the station, like an old and cantankerous Slimer.

The new Ghostbusters is set to release July 22, 2016.

LEGO Dimensions: Ghostbusters Packs & Adventure Worlds Announcement

LEGO Dimensions has finally given Ghostbusters fans something they've wanted for years, a game.  Not their own video game, but rather a fully open and explorable LEGO Dimensions Adventure World.

The Ghostbusters expansions will include a Peter Venkman World Pack (to unlock the open world) with ECTO-1 and a Ghost Trap, and two Fun Packs, a Slimer and Slime Shooter as well as the iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and a Terror Dog.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that there will be 14 Adventure Worlds in total coming for LEGO Dimensions.  Each offering an explorable sandbox area like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes' open city area, which was easily the best part of the game.  The LEGO Dimensions main set will come with 3 unlockable worlds- a DC Comics world through Batman, a Lord of the Rings level through Gandalf, and a LEGO Movie level through Wyldestyle.

     Here's the official description:
"LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming entertainment experience that merges physical LEGO brick building with interactive console gameplay, will include unlockable Adventure Worlds that provide open-world environments for players to explore. Separate from the game’s main story, players will be able to access 14 distinct Adventure Worlds for each entertainment property featured in the game. Every character in LEGO Dimensions has the ability to unlock the corresponding Adventure World of its brand to provide additional gameplay."
LEGO Dimensions will be available Sept. 27th for PS4, PS3, XBox One, XBox 360, and the Nintendo Wii U.

Ghostbusters: The New Cast in Full Costume & Gear

The new Ghostbusters reboot's director, Paul Feig, has been pouring out a stream of pictures via twitter, and he finally put up the long-awaited group shot.  It looks pretty damn good.  Especially the homage to the old cartoon Egon Spengler (The Real Ghostbusters) with a very familiar hairstyle and glasses look on Kate McKinnon's character Jillian Holtzmann.

Ghostbusters is slated for a July 22, 1016 theatrical release date.

Ghostbusters Reboot: Costumes and Proton Packs Revealed

While I am still a little on the fence about the upcoming Ghostbusters Reboot, mostly due to the writer/director being Paul Feig, and nothing to due with the amazing ladies cast- and seeing Spy recently has started to turn me around to what the film could actually become.

Feig has also got my interests peaked with two tweets, one with the updated take on the classic Ghostbusters uniforms, and the second of an updated version of the iconic Proton Pack.  They are both looking quite good, and my initial distaste about the reboot is slowly being eased away.

Both pics look to be handled with subtlety and simplicity which actually give me hope that this project could turn out well.

Ghostbusters Mobile Game: Capcom Wants Beta Testers!

Good news everyone!  A new Ghostbusters game is in the pipeline from Capcom, who are currently looking for Beta testers.  By filling out a survey at the Capcom Unity website you can sign up for the role, but the site gives no indication of what type of game they're developing.

Will this game be based on the original film and sequel or perhaps maybe a tie-in to the either of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboots?  There's really no way of knowing yet.  Being a mobile game there's a decent chance it'll follow in the path of the most recent mobile Ghostbusters iOS game by Beeline Interactive.  Personally I hope it'll be more akin to the 2009 Ghostbusters on PS3 (and the more appropriately related mobile counterpart on Nintendo DS).
Regardless, they've gotten my both my attention and my application survey.

Thor: The Dark World New Poster: Loki = Vigo From Ghostbusters

I thought I saw that new Thor: The Dark World Loki poster somewhere else before!  I had to do this, because it's all I could think of most of today.  Loki as the Vigo painting from Ghostbusters 2.

Who wouldn't be enthralled by Tom Hiddleston's Loki?

Ghostbusters the Video Game

Why has this game not gotten more attention?!?  Granted I'm getting to this now, 4 years or so late, but it is still a fun game anyway.  (The game was released in June 2009)

If any Ghostbusters fans out there are also gamers, I would highly recommend this game.  The multiplayer online is still up and running as well.  So I played a few matches and met some nice people- good stuff working as a team as well as competitive ghost busting.
The main game is nothing groundbreaking, but is simply a fun game with all the right touches added.  Ghostbusters: The Video Game fits in after the movies and have plenty of film references.  Many recognizable characters return, all voiced by their original film actors and actresses.  There's also Stay Puft, Slimer, and the talking painting of Vigo the Carpathian (Although the painting was destroyed/replaced in Ghostbusters 2).

The player is a rookie hired to assist the Ghostbusters with increasing ghostly phenomena. Starting with just the proton pack and the trap - you gradually build the pack up with Boson darts, slime tethers and a full on slime sprayer.

While I would love another movie of the Ghostbusters, I could understand the difficulties with it being made, so I would recommend more games.  I would definitely purchase any more of these produced.  Perhaps a Lego Ghostbusters?  Or just a sequel to this game itself.
I'll talk more on a potential movie sequel in a separate post another time.
Vigo the Painting
I must say interacting with the Vigo painting is my favorite part of this game.  Some of the things he says are so hilarious coming from a cruel ancient despot.  Here's a list of some, there's over a hundred so I snagged a bunch for readers.
  1. Araghhh...the smell of happiness stings my nose!
  2. Your weaknesses feed me! Please continue to fail!
  3. Compete for my amusement.
  4. Ohhh...this bores me.
  5. Time is but a window - and that window is closing.
  6. If only I could have delivered such humiliation in person.
  7. That was almost as painful as being stabbed and pulled apart...ermmmmm, but perhaps not.
  8. You call that an accomplishment?
  9. Congratulate yourself now mortal, while you still have time.
  10. Another thousand failures and I'll have enough negative energy to return to the world of the living. HAhahaha!
  11. I should've painted myself a bathroom in this thing.
  12. Just another thousand years, Vigo, hang in there. Hang in.
  13. In my day, we had no time for such trifling amusements.
  14. I loathe you from the darkest spume of my craven, boiling bowels!
  15. My veins spurt white hot bile and broken glass as I'm forced to look upon you.
  16. Sure, my cranium is large, but so is my devastation!
  17. I am Vigo the Cruel, Vigo the Torturer.
  18. When the day comes, you will be the first.
  19. When my vindication comes, you'll wish you'd been born inside-out.
  20. This pitiful makeshift prison will not last forever.
  21. Psst! Shoes are untied.
  22. Please stop burning the microwave popcorn.
  23. Don't you know me? I am Prince Vigo Von Homburg Deutschendorf.
  24. Oh, this really is a good likeness of me.
  25. Call me Vigo the Despised or Vigo the Unholy or...ahh...uh...never mind.
  26. Nobody ever listens to me.
  27. How about a little sacrifice? Not a baby, but maybe a dog or a cat?
  28. Come here boy! I'll wear you like pants.
  29. Did you know that the human large intestine, when stretched out, will wrap around a city block? You have to get a running start.
  30. Have you savored the exquisite anguish of tortured souls? Salty...
  31. Pull my finger! I command you!
  32. This isn't Ghostbusters. This is The Exorcist!
  33. I dreamt I was in a painting with ponies. It was nice.
  34. Ohh...I have an itch...ah...right...here!
Here are a bunch of small commentaries on our times by Vigo:
  • I see the evil of the times to come. No flying cars - ever! HAHAhahahaha!
  • I see the evil of the times to come. You will choose a king far more evil than myself to rule you. Twice!
  • I see the evil of the times to come. In time all music will be free, but for the cost of your soul.
  • I see the evil of the times to come. You will remember paying $1.45 for gas and will weep hot tears for yesterday.
  • I see the evil of the times to come. Millennial apocalypse! Your world unravels...maybe. Maybe not.
